This revelation was given to Shawn by his mother, who received it back in the 1980's.
Our interpretations are in red. (rory)
I saw this huge city that was very busy with people.
Out of the sky came the hand of God with a sword, HE divided the city into two sections. The section on the left was much larger than the section on the right.
This is as when God separated His people when they were in Egypt.
The "huge city" is the world, a "city" of nations, also called Babylon.
Isa 25:3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
There was a dark cloud that formed over the people on the left.
These people were doing horrid unspeakable things to each other.
When they saw the dark cloud above them they started reaching up to it and eating it like cotton candy. (The Holy Spirit later showed me that a lot of the dark cloud was from the TV and computers. -this was given back in the early 80's before computers were in homes)
The people on the left became bored with doing horrid things to each other so they started going over to the section of people on the right and doing horrible torturous things to them.
The people on the right are all that call themself Christians.
All "Christians" will be persecuted by the world in the tribulation. History repeats over and over and this has all happened before.
The Romans who persecuted the early Christians for example. Another example was when Israel left Egypt with a"mixed multitude" as they went into the wilderness.
GOD then divided the section on the right into three more sections.
The first group on the right had many more people in it than the other two groups.
These people had a hard time letting go of their past lives.
They wanted to get to Heaven but did not want to give up their sinful ways from their past.
(Those that call themself "Christian but there is no real change. They are simply "religious" Christians that wear a label.)
Because they kept looking back at their past they all turned into pillars of salt.
(They follow worldly tradition and living for the present world. Jesus likened them unto the seed that fell upon the rocky ground. The seeed sprang up with life, but because it had no root, it withered.)
Because they had not learned to have a relationship with Jesus they had no power to fight off the wicked people on the left.
The group on the left could not get their fill of doing horrid torturous things to the pillar of salt people.
The pillar of salt people have no personal faith or understanding of the Word of God which could save, heal, and deliver them. This is the vast majority of all who claim Christianity.
The second group had more people than the third group.
These people appeared to have no back bone or spine. They swayed with the wind. Any doctrine that came along they were quick to accept it because without knowing the word well enough they accepted whatever was preached.
This was is was the church world we also left behind. Conflicting, mingled doctrines, a comfy church routine, people smiled and clapped for whoever and whatever was spoken across the pulpit.
They were lazy and did not want to put forth effort in reading the word or prayer. Finding a church routine and a sermon easier than personal seeking of God and His Word.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
They wanted other people (especially their pastors) to do all the work for them and loved to listen to doctrines that tickled their ears (like the all-fly-away- pre-trib rapture) and did not call them to dying to their fleshly desires.
Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
These people had a little bit more power than the pillar of salt people but they still had not the power in their lives to combat the evil that was coming on them.
..."I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.".....
Notice, They did have some works...
This is the "many" of Christianity. Mat 24: 10 And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.
many means a majority and defined as "many, much, largely, altogether common, much, often.."
When we apply the Word of God to Christianity, this means the majority of Christians will "stumble", turn against other Christians, and follow false leadership.
Stumble: to entrap, that is, trip up stumble or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure): - (make to) offend.
The third group of people were by far the fewest in number. This is the remnant of God's people.
These people had determined in their hearts to be obedient to God no matter what the cost.
They denied them selves and walked in love with others.
Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
This group were pillars of fire. They were untouchable by the group on the left.
The group on the left would try to kill and destroy this group and God would translate the pillar of fire people or put HIS angels around them so that they could not be harmed, at least spiritually.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
The pillar of fire people would go back and forth trying to help the pillar of salt people and the people with no back bones that swayed in the wind.
These will be the anointed ones of the tribulation that will be witnesses just like those of the early church in Acts. The early church went through their tribulation as it is written:
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
The pillar of fire people had trained themselves to listen to the voice of God and they were used as the hand of GOD in the last days.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
They know His voice (His voice speaks His Word) because they abide in His Word:
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you
_____________________+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++______________________________
I saw in my dream that you had this glow around you.
Then it was like I went back in time and saw this river of fire. God was beckoning you to walk in the fire and you were hesitant. God told you to trust HIM and he would be with you in the fire.
When you were in the fire it was like you were being purified.
You went through some things that were extremely hard and broke your heart. Every cell of your being ached and cried. Several times you begged GOD to stop but he kept encouraging you to trust HIM.
HE was using the fire to purify your heart.
After you were done with the fire walk you had this glow around you and when you talked to people GOD (the pillar of salt/ churched people) would cause the scales to fall off their eyes and the plugs to come out of their ears.
Their hearts were then tender to hear GOD and they literally turned around and started walking in the opposite direction. Those that became "hearers" would come out from among them, forsaking their false leadership and walk the straight and narrow path of Christ. Rev. 18:4

Love God
We greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus as we close out the year of change, 2009.
A few days ago we had a neighbor over for tea. He is unemployed and in dire straits, but most of all, his soul is in a lost condition. We have supplied him with a Bible and met some of his basic needs as the Lord instructed us. As we sat around our kitchen table, the discussion turned to a question about Jesus, which as a former atheist, he was ignorant of.
So here we were, in our kitchen, as Linda prepared for her family, he asked me, "read me something about Jesus". Saying a silent prayer for guidance, my Bible opened to Mark 12. As I read a short passage to him, I was suddenly confronted with something I had read many times but glossed over or assumed it was a verse I had assimilated and lived, somehow.
Here it is:
28 And one of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he (Jesus) had answered them well, asked him, What commandment is the first of all?
29 Jesus answered, The first is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one:
30 and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.
Now we could go in several directions with that, but for now, let us consider one aspect of the Lords teaching. In this passage, Jesus was quoting from the Old Covenant which was still in force. When I read the passage, the Lord gently reminded me of the context from Deuteronomy 6. In the Law, the command to "love God....." was immediately followed by these verses:
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart;
7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
In a flash I realized in all the years we had been in church, faithfully taking our children to service after service, we taught them to BELIEVE in God, we taught them that Jesus saves.
We taught them to respect the church people, we taught right and wrong. We taught them tithing.
We taught them God is all-knowing, and all seeing.
We taught the Bible is God's Word, that God created everything, taught them that demons exist and they can hurt you, and many other typical church and Christians, but we had overlooked something.
You probably saw it already.
We had never taught or instructed our children to "LOVE GOD..." -like Jesus said.
The FIRST commandment?
We taught them a lot of things.
We saw the world come after them to love and lust after a lot more than what God had to offer. We saw the TV, movies, computer, and the kids at school teach them even more.
We taught them about work, family, the neighbors.
We taught them about gratification, comfort, and food. We taught them about restaurants, the beach, the mountains, and the stars. We taught them about cars, bikes, cats and dogs.
But we never told them to "LOVE God...". Not once. Nor do I recall ever hearing a sermon on this.
How could we be so blind?
When I saw what Jesus said, for the first time, my heart was smitten with the truth we had overlooked for more than 20 years as we raised our family. After the man left, I shared this with Linda and we both repented once more for what we had blithely overlooked and had read many times. Is it a wonder why we have had some of the problems with our children that we go through?
"thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength" is what Jesus said.
Everyone says that they "love God" but I wonder how many bother to read what He said? And how many do so with a heartfelt desire to DO what Jesus said? "LOVE God".
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
God is not impressed with perfect church attendance and keeping the church rules. He is less impressed with empty professions of love, and "I'm a Christian". He wants our genuine love which is expressed in doing what He has given us. He loves it when we trust Him and believe what He has given us in the scriptures. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
He said it again:
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my words....
To keep His words, we need to learn what His Words are!
(His Words continued to come forth through His apostles and are found in the NT epistles)
Yes, He commanded us to love our neighbor, love the brethren, and even love our enemies.
But He told us to "Love God" and teach our children to do likewise, this then is the FIRST works.
He told the Ephesian church in Revelation 2, "Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works".
As a postscript, we have repented, and even though our kids are grown (more or less), we have begun to speak the Words of Jesus in our home (btw, the church is called "the Israel of God"):
"Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one:
and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.
Do you want to know a "secret"?
Jesus slipped this in on His disciples, in addition to "keep my words...".
he added this:
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends.
The honest question is how many have or have not taught their children to "LOVE God"? I hope you did better than we did.
We would really like to hear from others on this.
Did you teach your children to love God? -or were you like us? Busy, busy church workers and life chasers. There is a "comments" button below and we invite you to make yours.

Where are my wings? Where is my ark?
Are they not my Words, is it not my Covenant?
For therein shall ye abide.
Consume me, consume me, or I shall consume you. I shall both consume and spew out, therefore be zealous and repent.
Pursue, pursue. Pursue me and I will be found, but your distractions have confounded your eyes.
Politics have distracted you, yes, they have become your lovers and where is my love?
My called ones are being broken right now, I am breaking them now, they will not be broken later. I am your mill stone and I will break you also into life giving bread, therefore be not afraid to be broken.
I am wine and am gathering my vintage therefore seek my purity and seek to be My wineskin for the old wineskin is bitter and split. It is no more fit for the New Wine of My Presence being poured out for you.
You must be a Wineskin filled with Me that others may drink from.
You must be Bread without leaven, therefore be purged and cleansed for there is a feast of unleavened bread that must be kept.
Your traditions are leavened, exceedingly leavened,
therefore keep what I have given and go not beyond that which is written.
My commands have I spoken therefore keep them, but the poor have you despised, are not they chosen also? -Are they not heirs of the kingdom?
How shall they eat and how shall they drink except they be given? Did not I command concerning this?
How then is My Word perfected? My love is perfected by them who keep my works.
Your possessions have possessed you, they have been your distractions,
therefore I will dis-possess and remove them.
These will I purge as I purge My Bread from the leaven of your things.
Do you not see this happening around you even now?
Those that love the economy will fear but those that love Me will not,
therefore be purged of these also for whom I have chosen will love Me when I purge them.
For I am their Lord and I do these things.

You would need to be a hermit not to have awareness of the dangers (so-called) of a flu of dubious origin.
The daily news that drums fear and acceptance of the unseen into the mass consciousness of the public continues unabated. Even people who have gotten vaccinated have gotten the flu. Others have suffered serious side effects and you don't really want to know what is in those vaccines as they are known toxins like mercury.
The fact the media gives daily coverage to the story ought to be a tip-off that a mass propaganda effort is underway.
For those of God's Faith, we confess and believe what God said, we have a tremendous "salvation". The word "salvation" in the Greek language the New Covenant scriptures were given in is "SOZO".
Sozo is a wonderful word and contains much more than just the salvation of the soul.
"Sozo" means:
to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction one (from injury or peril) to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health, to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue
and from the NASV Lexicon
"Sozo"
to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction one (from injury or peril) to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease,
to make well, heal, restore to health to preserve one who is in danger of destruction,
to save or rescue to save in the technical biblical sense negatively
1b to deliver from the penalties of the Messianic judgment
1b to save from the evils which obstruct the reception of the Messianic deliverance
Lexicons - New Testament Greek Lexicon - from the New American Standard Greek Lexicon - "Sozo"
-in other words, to save, heal, preserve, deliver, and make whole. That ought to blow your socks off because that is what Jesus did for you and I that BELIEVE.
Joh 5:34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. (sozo)
Mt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Mr 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; .......
Ac 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Mat 14:30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out,
"Lord, save me!" -"sozo" Saved from immediate danger/ problem/ circumstances
9:21 for she was saying to herself, "If I only touch His garment, I will get well." (sozo)
22 But Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Daughter, take courage ; your faith has made you well." At once the woman was made well. (sozo)
Acts 4:9 ...on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, (sozo)
From Psalm 91
Ps 91 gives wonderful assurances of God's ability to save, heal, and deliver:
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. (confessing Him)
3 For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. (sickness)
4 He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. (His wings, what is written on the pages of the written Word)
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. (your BODY is your "tent)
11 For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians (the unbelieving world)
: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
(who heals the believer? then if we truly believe, and have confessed and repented of our sin, then He keeps His promise to heal)
There are many, many more wonderful and amazing promises from God.
The benefits and blessings are conditional upon our obedience and faith in what he said, which we find in the scriptures, as Jesus instructed us.
Psalm 103
2 Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: (we are to recall His benefits. They are in the scriptures, therefore we must learn of them in the scriptures and BELIEVE them)
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; (He loves us and Jesus paid for our sins AND our sickness) -"For by His stripes ye WERE healed" -1Peter 2:24)
Our part is to repent of our sins and UNBELIEF, and put our faith in what God says, not the news media and the authorities. Faith in Gods Word brings the wonderful benefits of the kingdom of God, and we enter into the New Testament sabbath rest as we trust God and cease from our own works.
James 5:16 Confess your faults (sins) one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Confessing our sins to God is a pre-requisite to healing.
Why depend on government, vaccines, or even herbs when we have the more sure Word of God and His benefits? I pray for our faith to grow together into Christ-likeness. He was never sick, never sought the physicians, never leaned on herbs or medicines.
(by the way, I am not saying herbs are bad, but they will never take the place of faith in the promises of God's Word. For when we truly and fully believe what the word says, why pay for herbs we won't be able to buy in tribulation?).
Paul wrote to the church and when we consider God destroyed 14,000 people for murmuring in Numbers 16! -thank God for grace, but we still need to realize God is highly displeased with complaining. Think in terms of sposes, family, neighbors, bosses, co-workers, and politicians! Most Christians do not realize that grumbling, complaining, murmuring, criticizing and grudges are sin.
"Do all things without murmuring" Phil 2;14, Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
When we got this revelation I had to REPENT for ignorantly sinning just about day of my Christian life!
-and we began to understand why we suffered many injuries and afflictions over the years.
We are WAY more careful and aware of the tendency to grumble, complain, and criticize!
The other sin Chrsitians commonly commit is unforgiveness.
This one too, is guaranteed to bring you physical affliction and mental torment by the demons God sends to punish His people for disregarding his command to forgive.
The "sozo" promises are for our families and household:
Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

To-day we have a sabbath rest to enjoy!
If you are truly interested in a deeper look at the meaning of the sabbath, you will see there is a deeper revelation for you regarding the sabbath, which is near the end of this article.
+++++++++++
Backround:
The sabbath, as was circumcision and other commands, were first given as part of the body of the law from the Old Covenant.
God gave 10 commands to Israel, and then the law was added because of the sin of God's people.
1. If you choose to observe or/and go back under an OT law,
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
(BTW, the same "add not" and "diminish ought" applies to the NEW Covenant which the church has polluted by adding in tithing, pastor-idolatry, and dozens of unscriptural traditions and doctrines.
*see Revelation 22:18-19)
b. God said in the law "DO ALL" many, many times, and this was repeated by Paul and James as Paul wrote in Gal. 4:21
"Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?"
Gal 5:3 Yea, I testify again to every man that receiveth circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4) Ye are severed from Christ, ye (who) would be *justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace. *to render just or innocent: - free, justify, be righteous.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Where was circumcision commanded?
-In the law, of course. -Just like the sabbath, the feasts, and a multitude of other commands that confused Christians are entangled with. (Gen 17:13/ Lev 12:3)
+++++
Here is a partial list that God said in regard to the First Covenant (the Law) commands:
BTW, I have about 74 more verses that repeat this and if you want the scriptures, email for all them that declare: "keep all" or "do ALL" that is in the law:
Lev 19:37 And ye shall observe all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them
Deut 31:12 Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law
"This law" included every sabbath law and command:
Deuteronomy 8:1 All the commandments .. I command thee ... shall ye observe to do...
Deut 27:26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them.
Leviticus 19:37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them:
now pay close attention:
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Keep "Do ALL" in mind when you read what the disagreeing readers wrote.
It is very clear. "DO ALL..." means you can't go in and "diminish ought" from the parts your religion tells you that you cannot do or are not capable of doing.
(such as keeping the sabbath upon penalty of death or keeping the feasts of the Lord IN Jerusalem 3 times a year, as God commanded.)
>>>>>a reader who disagreed wrote:
"First I see you lumping together all of the Sabbaths, but it is only the seventh day Sabbath that was included in the 10 commandments <<<<<
God is the One that "lumped" ALL of His commands, statutes, and ordinances into the body of the whole law.
He said over and over and over : "Do ALL" to them who were under the law. (at least 75x God said "all")
The sabbath was part of the law, whether you choose it as the 4th commandment, or obey the "do all.." requirements of the sabbath law obsevances.
On "EVERY Sabbath" there is to be a burnt offering: "On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering" (Num. 28:9,10). This OT command for Sabbath keepers is clearly forbidden under the New Covenant in light of the book of Hebrews. The early Christians didn't do this and, therefore, did not keep the Saturday Sabbath command like Israel (Ex. 20:8-11 cf. Num. 28:9,10).
We all know it is impossible to sacrifice a lamb on every sabbath, what a offense that would be, to Jesus' (Yeshua's) sacrifice. Those who insist they are keeping the sabbath, and insist that others keep it the way they do have a huge problem. By this one verse we can see that according to the letter, they have already broken it, and thereby have put themselves under the curse
>>>>> Look at what Jesus said about the "sabbath law":
Matthew 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath day the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are guiltless?
John 7:23 If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath?
>>>>> a reader who disagreed said:
"We can all have different ways to keep the Sabbath, but who cares, as long as we are keeping the Sabbath and honoring God." <<<<<
There are no "different ways to keep the sabbath".
God cares. He was VERY specific on how to keep the sabbaths. (there was more than just the one on the 7th day of the week).
Keeping a partial sabbath your own way is dishonoring God who told them how to keep the sabbath.
If you "keep the sabbath" any other way than the way God gave it (including the death penalty), you are guilty of breaking God's Law that you put yourself under. John 7:23 If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath?
Ezekiel 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. Notice the plural, which includes the sabbath year: Leviticus 25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the **works of the law are under the curse:
for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them...
**Let's see what "works of the law" means according the scriptures. Sabbath keepers, feast observers, tithers, dietary law keepers, please note:
"works": ergō (a primary but obsolete word; to work); toil (as an effort); by implication an act: - deed, doing, labour, work.
Torah observant Christians, Hebrew Roots folks, Messianics, and a lot of you Pentecostals and SDA folks need to re-read Galatians 3:10 and look at that word ..."cursed"...?
The problem "sabbath keepers" have is they pick out the sabbath from Exodus, but fail to realize God had specific instructions for how He wanted it kept. If they did not keep it the way God said, they were guilty of breaking the sabbath. Jesus knew that when he quoted from the law and taught others.
see this article "How to keep the sabbath according to God".
2. Where do you find the 10 Commandments?
They are given first in Exodus 20, and given again in Deut. 5 as part of the whole Law.
Dt.5: 31 ... and I will speak unto thee all the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.
Jesus knew this and so did all of the NT writers.
If you indeed choose to cherry pick the sabbath laws, you are guilty of breaking all of the rest of the sabbath laws like this one:
Exodus 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death...
(please read the article about the sabbath laws and the parts they never told you about or excused for not doing)
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Gal 5:3 Yea, I testify again to every man that receiveth circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
:4 Ye are severed from Christ, ye would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace.
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
3. Let's be honest.
You want to keep this law or that one, a feast here, a sabbath there. A dietary law or two, a tithe. There are plenty of others that some think we need to follow, and much confusion.
Why even the feast-keepers and law-observant Christians can't agree which laws or how to follow OT laws.
Now notice:
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Psalms 119:160 The sum of thy word is truth;
And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever.
We must learn from the New Testament in order to get the "sum" total regarding the truth, or else we are guilty of "diminishing" from the WHOLE Word of God.
Here is the rub, most of those that focus on being sanctified, OT law-abiders, ordinance-keepers, do not do what Jesus told His disciples to do such as having the faith to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, speak with new tongues. (Mark 16:9-20)
Notice the law: (and a hidden prophecy)
Exodus 31:15 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work on the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest
This promise was also mentioned by Isaiah. We read of a prophecy concerning that future "rest" :
Isa 28:
11 Nay, but by men of strange lips and with another tongue will he speak to this people;
12 to whom he said, This is the rest, give ye rest to him that is weary; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
When did this begin to be fulfilled?
It began on Pentecost in Acts 2 and continued as God gave the Holy Ghost to them that believed. (Mark 16:18, Luke 24;47-49: Acts 1:8, etc.):
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
(another reference to Isa. 28 and the promise of Spiritual refreshing and rest we may enter into in Christ apart from our own efforts)
4. If we walk in the fullness of the Spirit, we are not in bondage to the works of the law as it is written:
gal. 5:18 But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Romans 7:6 But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that wherein we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.

Was the sabbath ever given as an ordinance to the church?
Can you find any instruction to any church or saint in the church epistles?
(there is not a one)
Have you read Acts 15 real close?
The Jewish elders did NOT tell the gentile churches to observe the sabbath.
-even though it was THE place and time to instruct them if it was to be observed.
(The same instructions were repeated in Acts 21.)
Now we could stop right there, but we are only scratching the surface:
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. ...

5. What was the Jewish apostle Paul referring to in these next verses written to Christians:
Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. ??
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you (ie. condemn you) in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: ???
Why was no one to judge or condemn the Colossians in regard to sabbath observances?
Simply because they were never commanded to observe the sabbath!
Did you see the plural use of "days"?
Paul was intimately familiar with ALL of the sabbath days, including the Passover feast midweek high-sabbaths, and the sabbath years.
He did not "cherry pick" from the law to make a convenient sabbath for Christians to try and observe.
Why did he chastise the Galatians?
"ye observe days... months.. years...times.."
-it was because they had become leavened to observe the sabbath, circumcision and other laws according to what was given in the old Covenant!
observe means:
to watch assiduously, observe carefully
to observe, keep scrupulously
to neglect nothing requisite to the religious observance of
In all the book of Acts through Revelation, there is not one reminder to keep the sabbath, circumcision, sacrifices, tithes, or feasts.... -unless you wrestle the scriptures trying to bring us back under the law which is anti-christ. (contrary, against)
1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
-desiring to teach and promote practices from the law they do nto understand and affirm as correct.
Do you realize there is not even ONE command to go to sabbath "services" in the New Testament?
Do you realize the typical programmed-planned church service is unscriptural?
Can you find even one command to tithe given to Christians?
Can you find where any NT minister is to take a salary or tithes to live from?
Can you find one verse giving a pastor sole authority over an assembly?

6. We are in the NEW Covenant.
That should be obvious, but the church long ago departed from the faith given to the churches in the scripture. The old covnent has been "changed", "disannulled", "end" "put away", "blotted out", "nailed to the cross".
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
This means you are no longer required to keep the ordinances, statutes, commands, feasts, circumcision, sabbaths, and judgments of the law, which are IMPOSSIBLE to keep anyway, because Christ fulfilled them for us.
Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned
Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace;
Hebrews 7:18 For there is a disannulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness
col. 2:14 having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter (the law).
Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law
But the law was "a type and shadow" for what was to come.
The NEW Covenant has the substance, fullfillment, and the light of Jesus Christ. "for the law came by Moses but grace and truth by Christ Jesus"
In Hebrews, speaking to those who had known the Law and the promises, the writer speaks of the "rest' God gave them, for which the sabbath was a figure or shadow for what was to come later.
The "rest" on the sabbath day and all of the sabbaths were types and figures for something that would come later through our "better covenant":
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things...
Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Let's look at a few things here:
Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
"sabbath" is "sabbatismos": a keeping sabbath. It is an on-going, continual sabbath.
Have you ever noticed the word "to-day" in the passage about the sabbath in Hebrews???
Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To-day if ye shall hear his voice,
Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To-day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:
Hebrews 3:15 while it is said, To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Hebrews 4:7 he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.
+++++
7.
Have you gotten the revelation for "to-day"?
Does God only promise a rest on the 7th day?
-or is there a "rest" remaining to the people of God for "TO-DAY"?
"TO-DAY if you hear His voice..."
The "rest" is for "today", i.e., for the sons of God to enter into our NT promises by faith, as by believing they have received. (Mark 11:23-24)
Since the works are finished, we should believe and rest from our own works to save, heal, and deliver ourselves. The promises are past-tense yet they are for us today.
ALL promises are through faith, that is, by BELIEVING what God said.
Because of this, we need to know what God said, especially in our Covenant, the new testament.
Heb.4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest …(That is a spiritual Sabbath rest.)
There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest
(in the Greek sabbatismos, "a keeping of rest") for the people of God.
This constant "keeping of rest" every day ("to-day") through the past tense promises is our New Testament spiritual Sabbath.
(10) For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Our faith in each of these promises brings us into more of the rest.
For example, if we believe that "by his stripes you were healed," then we will not keep seeking a healing but will rest accepting that it was accomplished at the cross. This is real faith and pleases the father when we trust HIM to meet our need.
It is by believing the promises (salvation, healing, deliverance, provision) that we enter into the on-going "sabbath" rest from our own works.
When you truly believe "you receive" you HAVE entered into His Rest, i.e. the on-going sabbatismos (sabbath), and this is what we are to do by believing "as it is written".
Those who continue to earn favor for what God has freely given believe in salvation by works.
Heb.4:10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works ….
Heb.3:19 And we see that they were not able to enter in (and receive the promises) because of unbelief.
To-day the promises of deliverance from *the curse are ***past tense, when we believe.
We are become partakers of Christ (His health, holiness, and blessing), "if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end".
-i.e. resting in faith He will do for us what He said in His word!
THIS is "the rest" that the sabbath foreshadowed, as we cease from our own efforts and works and we "rest" in God's promises to save, heal, deliver, and provide for us.

So which day do we enter in to His rest for these promises?
Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To-day if ye shall hear his voice,
"To-day" as He said. Every day is "to-day"!
He no longer limits a certain day (the 7th), but now in the New Covenant gives us the foreshadowed type from the sabbath EVERY DAY, "that " is what "to-day" is.
+++++++ In the next article, we will show how both sabbath keepers and non-sabbath kepers BOTH break the sabbath God desired us to rest in.
Scripture Notes:
* the curse: as given in detail by God and described in Deuteronomy 28.
** "to-day" as given in Hebrews as relating to the rest:
Strongs 2250
Def:
-the day, used of the natural day, or the interval between sunrise and sunset
-Any part of a day is counted as a whole day, hence the expression "three days and three nights" does not mean literally three whole days, but at least one whole day plus part of two other days.
-used of time in general
***past tense promises: we who believe "rest" in:
"By His stripes ye WERE healed"
Colossians 3:1 If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God
1st Peter 1:18 knowing that ye were redeemed
Mat 5:31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Hebrews 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.
24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
whether the sabbath, circumcision, tithing, dietary laws, etc., the Bible says you must keep ALL of the law, according to God.
However notice what God said to those that desire to keep all, part, or just 10 of the laws, commands, statutes, and ordinances from the LAW of Moses in the Old Testament:
We are not to add or take away from what God said.
